Samantha Ruth Prabhu opened up about fainting and suffering a concussion during the shoot of Citadel: Honey Bunny on her podcast
As fans of pan-Indian actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu are waiting eagerly to watch her in the spy action-thriller show Citadel: Honey Bunny alongside Varun Dhawan. She has returned after her hiatus to promote her upcoming project. Having made a name for herself in the industry with her versatile performances and down-to-earth personality, the actress is currently busy hosting her health podcast Take 20 with her co-host Alkesh Sharotri, a wellness coach. During the recent episode of the podcast, she revealed that shooting for the upcoming Raj & DK and Sita R Menon directorial, took a toll on her health.
During her chat with her co-host, the 36-year-old actress recalled how she had to finish shooting for her movie Kushi, co-starring Vijay Deverakonda, and simultaneous shoot for Citadel: Honey Bunny. Considering the show consists of lots of action sequences, it was extremely physical and very strenuous. Having been diagnosed with the autoimmune condition, Myositis, the shooting process of the web series was difficult for Samantha. ALSO READ: VIRAL! Talking to Alkesh, she reminisced many calls were made to him as she was suffering. Recalling an incident, Prabhu revealed that one time she also fainted and suffered a concussion. Quoted by the Hindustan Times, she added, “Many, many calls were made to you (Alkesh) in the middle of shoot - she’s having a spasm, she’s cramping. On the work front, last seen in Kushi, co-starring Vijay Deverakonda, Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be next seen in the Indian adaptation of Citadel. Co-starring Varun Dhawan, the web series will mark her second collaboration with filmmakers Raj & DK after Family Man 2. She recently announced the launch of her production house Tralala Moving Pictures in collaboration with the Hyderabad-based entertainment company Mandoa Media Works. Fans are eagerly waiting for her to announce her next project.
